Kate Bowers is a dedicated social change practitioner with over a decade of experience driving impactful initiatives to support communities in need. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, she has spent her career in the non-profit sector spearheading large-scale collective projects, developing strategic plans, and facilitating stakeholder engagement sessions across the province.

 

Most recently, Kate led an innovative initiative that bridged technology with integrated services, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations and the public sector to better serve individuals and families experiencing domestic violence.

 

Currently completing her Master of Public Policy and Administration at Adler University, Kate is expanding her focus to social policy, applying her leadership and cross-sector collaboration skills to advance innovative policy solutions. She is deeply committed to systemic change that benefits marginalized populations, with particular interests in mental health and addictions.
